A view inside command central (AKA the broadcast room) So yesterday my church deployed the new HD video system. They’ve replaced the old SD video projectors, mixers and cameras for nice HD gear. Gone is the old 4:3 screens, the noisy video feeds, and in is 1080i, crystal clear picture. And it looks sweet. I was listening into the coms feed during the first service, and I’ve gotta say, I have alot of respect for video mixers. Being able watch three camera feeds, direct two camera ops, control a remote camera, and being mentally focused for a long time, is not the easiest job.   Anyways, I’ve got new toys to play with now! :)
